Hendrick Acura Northlake Construction Update
May 2026
Construction is nearing completion on Hendrick Acura Northlake.
City officials have issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for stocking
and training until the new traffic signal is completed at the entrance off
Eastfield Road. Upon completion of the new signal, the facility will be ready
to open for customer sales and service.
Hendrick Acura Northlake represents the latest iteration of
American Honda design, marking a major departure from previous Acura
facilities. The 31,000-square-foot facility is located adjacent to Hendrick
Northlake Auto Mall and occupies approximately twenty acres of land alongside
the Land Rover Northlake facility, which is also currently under construction.
Recent construction accomplishments include:
- Completion of all site lighting
- Completion of asphalt paving and striping
- Installation of all shop equipment and furniture
- Completion of all concrete flatwork and aprons
- Installation of all landscaping material
- Completion of all ceiling tile, tile flooring, and carpet throughout the facility
Ongoing activities
nearing completion include the installation of the Aluminum Composite Material
(ACM) cladding at the front of the facility, installation of parts shelving,
and administrative closeout of the stormwater detention pond.
Scheduled to open this summer, the Hendrick Acura Northlake Service
department comprises sixteen service stalls, two detail bays, and an alignment
pit. Additionally, the Parts Department spans two levels totaling approximately
6,300 square feet of parts storage, office areas, tire carousel storage, and space
for shipping and receiving.
Sales and financial services comprise the majority of the
remainder of the facility and include a dedicated new car delivery bay; an
environmentally controlled service drive for four customer vehicles; two
dedicated F&I offices with an option for a third; dedicated sales manager
offices; and a large showroom with a customer amenities area complete with a
lounge, coffee area, Wi-Fi, and casual seating throughout the showroom.
Once open for business, Hendrick Acura Northlake will be an
integral part of the Hendrick Northlake Auto Mall, which includes Hendrick
Lexus Northlake, Hendrick BMW Northlake, Mercedes Benz of Northlake, Audi of
Northlake, the all-new Hendrick Collision Northlake, and Land Rover of
Northlake. The new Hendrick Reconditioning Center, located adjacent to the
Hendrick Collision Northlake, is also currently under construction.
